Sol Tea is a new sub-brand by The North Face, created to support recovery and wellbeing for athletes and explorers.
Designed as a warming, restorative tea blend, it reflects the same spirit of endurance defining the brand’s core gear - this time focussed inward; on the body and soul.
The tea is ethically sourced from regions across the Andes Mountains, where past expeditions by The North Face community have taken place. This connection to place and journey became central to the packaging concept. The lid’s angular form references the peaks of mountain ranges, while a topographic map wraps around the box - an homage to the essential tools of navigation and terrain reading.
The colour palette was drawn from The North Face apparel line, ensuring consistency with the wider brand identity while introducing a sense of calm and care. Each tea in the range is formulated to target recovery - from muscle soreness to immune support - positioning the product as a natural continuation of an adventurous explorer’s gear.
Sustainability was built into the solution from the outset. Materials were selected for their environmental responsibility, reinforcing The North Face’s ongoing commitment to reducing its footprint. The result is packaging both resilient and thoughtful - echoing the needs of those who push boundaries, and the importance of finding stillness after the summit.
