The name and concept draws inspiration from Reticella, a traditional Italian needlework technique of withdrawing threads from fabric to create a grid - a foundation for intricate embroidery. The same structural elegance is echoed in the label stock itself: Intreccio, a pearlescent, diagonally embossed paper developed by the renowned Italian papermill Manter Fedrigoni. The gridlike texture forms a tactile base, allowing the light to interact with the label’s surface and adding a sense of depth and dimensionality.

Typography was chosen to complement the label’s refined tactility. A classic serif font, paired with delicate embellishments, reinforces the artisanal character of both the product and its presentation. Foil stamping and blind embossing were used with restraint, ensuring the inherent beauty of the paper remained the hero. The result is an understated yet elevated aesthetic - luxurious without excess.

To complete the experience, the bottle is housed in a custom cylindrical container. This outer packaging extends the narrative of material and craftsmanship, using tonal textures and subtle gloss finishes to echo the interwoven theme. Together, the bottle and container present a cohesive design story honouring the artisanal heritage of Italian craft while firmly placing the product within the contemporary prestige wine category.
