The BYD Seal introduces a new standard in electric vehicle design - where intelligent architecture meets refined aerodynamics in a sedan engineered for performance.
This campaign placed photography at the forefront, with a visual language shaped to mirror the car’s clarity, precision, and progressive form.
A deliberate, methodical approach was taken to capture the Seal’s dual personality: elegant when still, and assertive in motion. Every angle, lens choice, and lighting condition was selected to enhance this balance. The vehicle’s signature BYD light blue finish informed the entire colour strategy - images were treated with cool, tonal consistency to echo the sleekness of the body and the technological sophistication of the car itself.
Dynamic rolling shots were prioritised to convey movement without aggression. These frames were carefully composed to emphasise the flow of the Seal’s profile, highlighting its aerodynamic silhouette while ensuring minimal distortion and maximum light control across the body panels. The car appears in motion with purpose: smooth, efficient, and uninterrupted.
Still photography focussed on capturing presence and proportion. Low camera positions were used to visually anchor the car, creating a sense of power and planted confidence without overstating. Reflections were controlled through polarisation and selective lighting, ensuring every surface retained its sharpness and integrity.
Inside the cabin, the photography shifted to reveal material quality and intuitive technology. Lighting was softened to draw attention to key interface elements, trim finishes, and stitching detail, communicating luxury through texture, alignment, and restraint. Each frame was designed to feel immersive but uncluttered, reflecting the clarity of the car’s interior design.
